The Muncie Liberation Studio is hosting a screening of the new Shaka A. Shakur documentary, “Behind Enemy Lines this Friday, followed by a panel and audience discussion.

Vernon T. Bateman, who spent several years incarcerated with Shaka and who fight together for their freedom and others’, will be a featured panelist. Joining Vernon will be Dani Abdullah of the Indianapolis Liberation Center and Derek Ford, who co-directed the film.

Just a three hour drive from Shaka’s hometown, the Muncie Liberation Studio has, for two years, served as a physical space in Muncie serving to educate, organize, and agitate for a better world for all.
