If you had to miss the grand opening that kicked off two weeks of “Art for Exoneration: The Vernon T. Bateman Experience,” or if you want to relive the memories, watch this short video. And if you haven’t yet, get your tickets for the upcoming First Friday show, “A History of Resilience: How Humanity Heals.”
Take a Peak at the Grand Opening
Not only is this event a showcase of the diverse, unique, and expansive art experiences created by Vernon and his team; it is the final step in his struggle for exoneration. Practicing what he preaches, Vernon is using this opportunity to shine a spotlight on other artists working around similar themes. The group show will include works by Lejda Ramo, Lisa Macha, Sarah Pfohl, Matthew Gunning, and Vernon T. Bateman.
In addition, learn about the inhumane and unjust conditions Vernon continues to face and make a commitment to contribute whatever you can to exonerate him before the summer is over at FreeVernon.org.
At the grand opening, catered by Sam’s Square Pie, we heard from Vernon and his family, the artists, lawyers from the Exoneration Project, and other supporters.
